🏀 TUNE SQUAD 1-1 (Forfeit Win)

The weekend kicked off with Tune Squad scheduled to face a familiar foe in the Arzei Levanon Lions. But when the Lions failed to show, the Squad was awarded the forfeit win, evening their record at 1-1.

🦅 REAPERS 49, AISH 29

Short handed? No problem.

Despite dressing only five players, the Reapers grinded out a gutsy win against Aish to move to 2-0 on the season.

Meyer Sakkal, returning from illness, and Jack Rosow playing the full 40 minutes set the tone.

A tight first half ended on a high note as Jack Braha grabbed an offensive board off a missed free throw and laid it in at the buzzer to give the Reapers a 23-19 lead.

Second half? Pure domination. The defense clamped down, allowing just 10 points, while the offense found its rhythm to secure a 49-29 blowout win.

🏈 DARTS 26, SUSSMAN'S FOOTBALL 7

Statement made.

In what was billed as a top-tier matchup, the Lev Aharon Darts dismantled 3-1-2 Sussman’s Football, a team led by one of the most talked about QBs in MMC.

Jack Braha earned MHC Player of the game honors with a near-flawless stat line:

11/15, 183 YDs, 3 TDs, 2 XPs.

Quickly showing who the real top QB is in MMC.

The tone was set early with a strike to Morris Edery for the opening TD.

The turning point came on defense: after Sussman’s offense reached 1st & Goal at the 6, birthday boy Josh Chabbott came up with a clutch INT to flip the momentum.

Braha then orchestrated a scoring drive, hitting Chabbott for a TD and tossing a forward pitch to Moshe Alalo for the XP.

Later, with just 17 seconds before the half, Braha delivered a dart to Meyer Sakkal, who went up and came down with a highlight reel TD. A no-look XP pass to Alalo, which was the Play of the Game, closed the half at 20-0.

The defense kept its foot on the gas in the second half, with Isaac Shama jumping a route and returning a 35 YD pick 6, sealing the Darts’ biggest win of the year.

Other notable players, OL Max Arussy, keeping the pocket clean all night long. DL Marvin Levy turning up the pressure with 3 Sacks.

The Darts improve to 3-2-1, setting up a can’t miss Saturday night matchup vs 3-2 Popcorn under the lights at Kraft Family Sports Campus on the 7th night of Chanukah.
